🕯️In Memory of Michael Eliskases (1886–1944)

Born: December 2, 1886 in Hall in Tirol
Residence: Hall in Tirol
Occupation: Farmer
Persecution:
September 20, 1943: Arrested by the Gestapo on accusations of arson
Deported to Mauthausen concentration camp
February 15, 1944: Death in the camp from so-called "heart weakness"
The Nazi administration systematically disguised acts of lethal violence with fabricated medical diagnoses. Michael Eliskases’ death exemplifies the deliberate destruction of human lives under the cloak of bureaucracy. His fate reminds us of the cruelty of a system that extinguished lives and obscured the truth.
