In silent remembrance of three innocent children whose lives and futures were brutally taken by Nazi tyranny.

·       She was 15 years old

·       Born January 27, 1937 in Hall in Tirol
·       Deported April 3, 1943
·       Murdered in Auschwitz May 13, 1943
·       She was 6 years old

🕯️Josef Winter

·       Born July 28, 1941 in Hall in Tirol
·       Deported April 3, 1943
·       Murdered in Auschwitz May 2, 1943
·       He was 2 years old

Their home was Hall in Tyrol. Their prison was Auschwitz. Our duty is remembrance. 🕯️🕯️🕯️

These three young souls were part of a Yenish family based in Solbad Hall. They were deported from Innsbruck to Auschwitz along with their mother Barbara Winter and 61 other victims. While their mother survived, Maria, Anna Maria and Josef became victims of the Nazi extermination machinery.
Their names and their story should never be forgotten. This portal serves their memory and reminds us that such things must never happen again.
