My sincere gratitude goes to everyone who accepted my invitation to the book presentation on November 6th. I am absolutely delighted that the evening was once again completely sold out and that we were able to come together in such an appreciative atmosphere.
A special thank you goes to Martin Sailer and City Councillor Christoph Sailer for the sensitive reading from the book, as well as to Dahlia and Gregor from the Musikschule Hall for the wonderful musical accompaniment.
I would also like to express my particular thanks to Dean Dr. Jakob Patsch for the invitation and the warm welcome.
I felt particularly honored by the presence of our distinguished guests:

🌍 English Translation (Summary)The article “Horrors of Camp Life” is based on the publication “KZ Dachau, Prisoner Number 14354” by Elisabeth Walder. It describes the experiences of prisoners in the Dachau concentration camp.
The focus is on the extreme living conditions: hunger, forced labor, violence by guards, and the constant fear of death. Prisoners were systematically dehumanized and stripped of their dignity.
At the same time, eyewitness accounts show that some prisoners tried to support each other or maintain inner resistance in order to survive.
The article highlights the importance of such testimonies for historical awareness and as a reminder never to forget the crimes of the Nazi era.
