Eighty years after the end of World War II, it is more important than ever to engage with history. On a local level, we see how courageous individuals stood up for humanity and justice, despite great personal risk. Their stories are part of our shared past – and they continue to inspire us today.
With this platform, we aim to share knowledge, encourage reflection, and promote a culture of remembrance. Only by understanding what happened can we take responsibility for the future.

This work provides an overview of an ongoing research project focusing on local resistance against the Nazi regime in Hall, Tyrol, which will later be expanded to include surrounding communities and the broader Tyrol region. Relatives of resistance fighters are warmly invited to come forward.
